Car quit running and will not start

While driving my car shut off in the middle of the road and wouldn't start back up . Bought a new battery , had the starter tested and was good but still won't turn over and start.

Hi,

I need to better understand. Is the starter engaging and turning the engine, but it isn't starting. or is the starter not engaging at all?

I'm going to get started with a couple of links for you to look through. The first explains how to test a starter not working and the second explains the most common causes of a crank no start condition.
