Good evening,

I have experienced the car stalling twice today. Once at a traffic light and the other one while I was driving. It happened about 5mins apart. The car would switch on, but not hold and go off. The only way I could drive is by holding the key forward on ignition and then pressing gas straight away. I suspect it the ignition switch playing up, but I'm not entirely sure. I was still able to drive after that and didn’t have an issue, but worried about getting in to such a situation going downhill.

Hi,

When you say the switch was held forward for it to run, do you mean the starter was engaged, or did you just need to move it slightly in the run position?

If you moved it slightly and it continued to run, then it does sound like the switch is either bad or there is an adjustment issue. I'm not familiar with this vehicle because it isn't offered in the US.

Let me know as much as you can, and I'll try my best to help.
