On the car listed above LS model, when replacing front door speakers and tweeters, do the door panels have to be removed or can the speaker enclosures be removed by themselves?

How about the radio? Is it as easy as the front door speakers? And also, how about the back 6x9 speakers, how do you remove those?
And last question, I've read that my car has 8 speakers including the 2 tweeters by the front of the vehicle. My car seems to have only 6 speakers including the 2 tweeters in the front.

Hello again,

I have included all the information that you have requested in the diagrams down below. The difference in the speaker count is whether or not you have the premium sound or not. With the premium sound you not only got two extra speakers, they were also manufactured by Bose. The stereo looks to be a double din stereo, so keep that in mind when selecting a stereo or bracket. Please let us know how everything turns out.

Thanks,
Alex

Do I have to remove the whole panels on the doors to get to the front speakers and tweeters?
I have the monsoon concert series system. Is the the premium sound? If I do have the premium sound, where would the 8 speakers be located or in my case where would the extra 2 speakers be. I found the 6 speakers with tweeters but not the 8.

Where can I get the original car speakers and tweeters for my car listed above? The system is Concert Sound 2.

Welcome to 2CarPros.

I have to be honest, they don't make the same model anymore. The best you are going to do is find them in a salvage yard. You could contact a dealer and see if they can locate old stock.

You may want to replace them with the same size speakers but new ones and a different brand. They make a ton of new ones that are excellent.

Let me know if that helps.

Joe

My speakers work at times and other times they sound shot. The front speakers are always shot. The two back speakers come and go. They sound great when they are working but when they go they sound horrible. Why is this?

Hello,

This sounds like the amp inside the radio is giving out which could be due to the front speaker overloading the amp hard to say. Here is a video of the stereo being installed on a similar car so you can swap it out.

Use an aftermarket unit and get new speakers :) Please run down this guide and report back.

I think my cable connections are not secured. I went to the trunk, spotted the speakers and played with the cables going into the 2 6x9's and I was able to get sound back just from the back speakers. How do I fix those cables without rewiring everything from scratch. Can I just duct tape those connections directly to the 6x9 speakers?

You should use a wiring connector which you can get from the auto parts store. Can you please shoot a quick video with your phone so we can see what's going on, that would be great. You can upload it here with your response.
