It has been sitting since my mom passed and I have not gone through probate to get the title put in my name, this is my first task. My question is: It has been sitting for three years it ran when I put it in the garage but I think a few hoses are cracked and both the power steering and brake fluid leaked out. Once I check the lines and I think replace the rear brake cylinders what else should I be wary of when trying to get it up and running?

Every brake line and fuel line should be changed, if one rusted through the rest are not far behind. Go over all the wiring and hoses for cracks and rodent damage. If it was stored with a full tank the pump and tank should be okay, if not then they are likely very rusty inside.
Will likely need new tires as well. However, the first step will be just getting it started, put in a good battery, then just turn the key on/off a few times to be sure it has primed, then see if it will start. Until you have a good engine the rest is academic.
