Car shuts off while driving

Yes the light is on.

Cool, please run the codes so we can fix the car for you. ;) An auto parts store will do it for free or you can get a code reader for $25.00 on Amazon. Every car owner should have one FYI.

Had the codes ran . It shows 5, but they couldn't tell us what to do to fix them.

What are the codes numbers I will tell you how to fix it.

P0060, P1450, P0456, P144A, P0316

The first code is a bank 2 sensor 2 oxygen sensor which you can change yourself getting the sensor from Amazon and following this guide.

Which can cause the engine to shut off. I would do this first and then clear the codes and go from there.

The other codes are EVAP and misfire codes which wont make the engine stall only the oxygen sensor can do that. Might want to look at the gas cap first.

Check out the diagrams (Below) the sensor you want to replace is the second one down one the front bank. Closest to the front of the car.

Thank you for all your help. O2 sensor is ordered. Have capless gas tank on it.

I have seen where the cap-less system leak at the fill FYI it will need to be replaced if this is the issue.
