I got in my vehicle after 8 hours.
I cranked the car and allowed it to run for 5 minutes. Then I drove off. It shut off once and then I cut it back on and proceeded home. The instrument panel and headlights were flickering. When I pressed the accelerator, it would be fine. When I didn’t have it pressed like at a light the truck just completely shutter off! The horn or lights don’t even work. No door chime.

Hi,

The first thing I suggest is to have both the battery and the alternator tested. Actually, we can do this with one check.

Here is a link that explains how to test an alternator. All you will need is a basic voltmeter or multimeter.

Follow the directions in this link and let me know the results:

Take care and I'll watch for your reply.
