Yesterday I noticed car smoking lightly under hood and a weird smell in car after getting gas. I checked the oil dipstick and car was out of oil so I added 3 quarts of oil and then drove it around the block and parked it. This morning as I was driving Car started smoking under the hood and shut off while driving. After a few minutes I was able to crank up again and start driving but after a few miles it stopped again and started smoking more then would not crank again. While waiting for tow truck I tried cranking it up a few times and got out and noticed oil all over the bottom of car and all over the passenger side of car. I checked the oil dipstick again and it’s empty/very low. There was no leaks noticed prior to this. Also I have not changed oil and oil filter in a very long time.

It sounds like the oil leak may have locked up the engine, I would use a breaker bar on the front of the engine to see if you can move the engine by hand. Was the engine making a strange noise before it stopped? Let's go over this guide to help confirm the issue.
