Why does the car shudder on take-off when turning right?

Hi,

Is this something you hear or is it only felt? Is there a sound associated with it, does it seem to come from the driver's or passenger's side of the vehicle? Is there any clicking related to the issue? I ask because there could be an issue with a CV axle joint.

Hi Joe,

No, this is something I feel, to me it feels like and acts like a slipping clutch. As far as the CV axle it doesn't have that notorious popping sound when you turn the wheel while driving. I was doing a little research on that car, and it seems to be a lot of issues with those CVT transmissions, also was wondering if the transmission fluid could be low but I didn't check at that time because when I looked for the dip stick there wasn't a traditional dip stick so I just moved on at that point. So hopefully that helps out on maybe where you think I should look, oh another thing she just recently had her front rotors and pads replaced so maybe a caliper sticking or something. Just figured I'd reach out to y'all to see if the things I'm describing to you sounds familiar to y'all in anyway or at least give me a direction to head. Hi,

It could be a brake. After driving the vehicle, see if there is excessive heat coming from any of the wheels.

Next, the transmission, CVT, is not the greatest thing. It could be coming from that as well.

To check the fluid level, the engine needs to be warm, running, and lifted enough for you to gain access to the drain plug. Note: It must be running. If the engine is off and you remove the drain plug, it will drain the fluid. With it running, that won't happen.
