Car shuddering when I accelerate after hard rain

There was a hard rain, I hit a water puddle and my car stalled. It started up after sitting a second. Ran fine until next rain, hit a puddle, stalled again. Now when I am driving, when I am accelerating, my car wants to shudder and run crappy to the point where I think it is going to stall again. What can I do or check?

Sounds as if you have water in one or more electrical connectors. Best to pull each apart (just undo the plug do not pull the plug apart) and check for moisture, dry if wet, you can use compressed air or a hot air gun. Check for codes as well as this may help locate the exact plug or sensor or actuator at fault.
