not shifting

Car shifts okay sometimes, other times no shifting. Transmission guy said nothing wrong. How many sensors are involved? Can a bad coil cause this also?

Hello,

This sounds like the input shaft speed (revolution) sensor is going bad. Here is the location so you can change it out. It is on the transmission near the front. Check out the diagrams (below). Please let us know what happens.
