Car runs it idles high and has a whining noise

Car runs it ideal high makes a whining noise and when put in anything and I take my foot off slowly the car jerks then dies and it does the same way in reverse. I saw a small vacuum hose off and all that question tried it again next. It did not do anything. What should I do?

Hey CARL,

This sounds like the there is a big vacuum, leak somewhere, here is a guide to help you find it, then you can go from there on fixing it.
