Car running good one day not the next

I have a 1998 Pontiac Grand Prix GT that was running good last night when I parked it, Went out today to start it and it runs like junk, It's missing really bad, Hardly stays running, What could happen overnight to make this happen? Thank you in advance !

Scan for codes and check fuel pressure with a gauge auto parts rent it. Could be a bad fuel pump, vacuum leak, wire disconnected etc.

Doesn't the check engine light have to be to scan for codes?

Ya but a lot of times the crank sensor goes bad and won' t set the light on
