Car radio display not coming on and climate control not turning off

My mechanic has my car and he just changed my evaporator and now my radio screen is blink and my A/C comes on and work, but we can’t turn it off or turn it down change anything. help please.

In order to replace the evaporator, the HVAC unit behind the dash needs to come out so I suspect he missed a connector or it is not fully connected.

The only way to find this out is to check voltage coming into the module behind the dash. There are a number of power wires and if the connector is loose or off then the unit will not come on.
