My car was running very rough recently and now it won't start. I've tried new charging the battery turns over but still will not fire. I hear backfiring. I'm trying to clean the camshaft sensors O2 sensors. what else can I do?

The backfiring might not be good; the engine can have a mechanical failure such as the timing chain jumping. If you upload a short video of the engine cranking, I can tell for sure, or you can do a compression test which you can rent the gauge set from the auto parts store for cheap or free.

Please go over this guide and let me know:

Also, this video can help as well:
