Car not starting, anti-theft security system activated

car wouldn't start . i replaced key lock box and ignition switch but now when i try to start it it says starter disengaged due to anti-theft security system. I've looked up all kinds of different ways on line to reset the security system and nothing has worked. Does it have to be reset at a dealer?

Lets reboot the system by holding the negative battery cable to the positive terminal for 5 minuets. this guide can help us fix it:
