Transmission gets stuck in third gear

At first my car would hesitate to shift from reverse to drive then I lost a lot of power. When you first start my car it drives fine from first to second then gets stuck in third and stays there. I can't up shift or downshift. When I turn car off it repeats everything again but cannot get car out of third.

Hello,

It sounds like you have an input shaft speed sensor that is not working correctly. To be sure lets run the codes. here is a guide and I found the sensor location in the diagrams below:
