Was driving per usual on the highway when I couldn't accelerate and lost power, tried to start it after it sat and now it has a knocking sound.

Can you tell me approximately where the knocking sound is coming from? For example, is it from the engine or transmission area? Also, is it consistent with engine speed?
We need to be careful because this is an interference engine. If the timing chain has jumped, the engine can be damaged if it is running. So, my next request is up to you.
Is it possible for you to record the noise and upload it for me to hear? That may help me.
