Car Key problem

Hello, My Toyota Corolla (AE92) has a problem with the driver side door. The key only locks the driver side door but does not unlock it however the key works fine on the passenger door. I tried lubricating the key hole many times but its just not working, anybody know what the problem might be?

Take the door panel off to access the key lock and make sure rods are hooked up then remove key lock to see if it works ok

You can take off the door panel and check the rod and mechanism that connect to the lock cylinder. You may end having a new lock cylinder installed.
