Good morning,

This is an issue with the vent in the fuel tank. When the vent is stuck closed, it will not vent air to the atmosphere for fueling.

Are there any codes stored? If there is, I need the codes. You can have them read for free at a parts store.

NOTE: After installing an Evaporative Emission (EVAP) canister or Evaporative Emission (EVAP) canister purge valve, carry out the Evaporative Emission System Leak Test. For additional information, refer to Evaporative Emission System Leak Test See: Evaporative Emissions System > Component Tests and General Diagnostics > Evaporative Emission System Leak Test.

Okay, make sure the filler neck is clear and there are no obstructions in the line down to the tank.

Make sure the vent line in the diagram I sent you is clear as well.

Where’s the vent valve or vent solenoid at could it possibly be it or would it be the box?

It is attached to the filler neck as in the diagram I sent you.

It may be stuck closed. It s a normally open valve and is only commanded closed when the system is doing its internal leak test.
