Impala 3.8. Tried to start no crank no start. Went to the fuse crank relay with a jump wire and it tried to crank no start. Tried to put it in neutral and still no start.

Are you getting twelve volts down to starter with key turned to start using a multimeter?

I took the battery to advance auto parts and had it tested and they said it was a bad battery. When the car stopped on me last night the radio and my headlights was still working. Should I get the alternator tested too?

Did you replace battery? Have tried to jump? Starter needs 200 + amps to operate radio/lights 10-20 amps.

Install new battery, place voltmeter across battery terminals, start car and observe voltmeter, should be around 13.5 or higher depending what draw is on battery accessory. Turn on heater fan, radio, headlights, rear defroster etc. To see if alternator stays above twelve volts.
