My car was throwing a P0300 code at first, and then a couple days later it threw P0014 saying that bank 1 was advanced beyond limits. The mechanic changed 1 VVT and I got my car back and about a couple days later my truck started jerking when in idle at stop signs or lights and especially did it when in eco mode. I’m posting a video of what it’s actually doing in idle. Do you know what could be the problem?

*no check engine light is on since replacement of VVT just the symptoms in the video*

So it looks like the is still having the issue and acts like this when the camshaft timing is off or can't be controlled, how long have you driving the car once the last repair was done? Here are what the old codes mean:

P0300 - Random/Multiple Cylinder Misfire Detected:

P0014 - "B" Camshaft Position - Timing Over-Advanced or System Performance (Bank 1):

It could be you have no codes because the car needs to be driven longer for it to trigger, I would scan the car now to see if any are present.

I would also make sure the engine oil is clean and full with a new oil filter because it is the oil that operated the camshaft actuators. Please go over this guide and get back to us.

I start driving the car right away after the repair and it was fine and then I put some oil in my car because the dip stick is hard to read and I was told the 2.4 runs through oil fast and to make sure I never get low and right after I put the oil in and drove home it started to do those symptoms and then the next day it stopped. I’ve drivin atleast 200 miles since then no symptoms no CEL. I have A oil changed scheduled for tomorrow.
