Car runs fine in every way apart from the strange message on the ICD saying press clutch to start even though car is running.
It only does this in first gear and reverse.
Once you change to second gear goes away.
I’ve changed both clutch switches, brake switch and reverse switch on the gearbox.
Anyone with ideas what could be causing this?
It’s like the car doesn’t know it’s already started.
Thanks,
Ste

Hi,

What I need you to do is check voltage to the clutch pedal switch. First, keep your foot off the brake and then press the start button 2 times to power up everything but not start the car. Next, check for voltage to the clutch pedal position sensor on the harness side. You should find less than 1v. If it is higher, you have a short to power. In that case, it becomes a wire chasing issue.

Let me know.

Hi Joe,
Thanks for the reply.
I’ve checked the voltage and it’s reading 11.6v from the harness side.
Thanks,
Steve

Steve, according to the manual, you have a short to power. Have you tried tracing the power supply back to see if there is anything that appears damaged?
