My car was fine this morning. I started to drive and on the passenger's seat it began to rattle now when in park or driving it rattles. What should I do? Does this mean my car is about to go?

Hi,

The car is likely fine. I have a question. If you place your hand on the back section, does it stop? If not, if you place your hand on the seat portion, does it stop? Also, check to make sure the head rest isn't making noise.

I ask because something may have simply come slightly loose. I would suggest to start where the seat mounts to the floor. There are four bolts holding it. See pic below.

The bolt size should be approximately 14mm. Check to see if they are all tight.

Let me know what you find or if you have other questions.

Take care,

Joe
