Wrench light and the front airbag lights turn on, when this happens the mileage disappears and it is hard to drive?

Our car just recently started having the wrench light come on and the front airbag light come on. They come on off and on. When they do come on, the mileage disappears. Then the car becomes hard to drive. Thank you for your help!

Hi,

The first thing I recommend is to have the can-bus scanned. CAN stands for controller area network. Basically, the different control modules on the vehicle are tied together via a few wires. This type of scan will retrieve codes regardless of the module storing them.

The reason I'm suggesting this is because it can become a guessing game if we don't. That can get expensive.

Also, what do you mean by the vehicle becoming hard to drive when the lights turn on? Are you losing power steering assist or brake assist?
