My car is in garage they are saying oil as contaminated with petrol and are saying all pipes need changing. is this true I think they are pulling my leg?

Hello Mark,

All engine oil has gas in it after a short time of running. To see if the problem is in excess check the level of the oil to see if it is over full if not you do not have a problem.

As Ken said, it all depends on how much petrol is in the oil. Normally you won't be able to smell or see and real change in the oil because it's a small amount.
If you can smell it in the oil you may have a sticking injector. Are you experiencing other problems?
