Was working on car stereo (aftermarket). Car was immobilized by security system. Now alarm light stays on, car cranks but will not start. Have done a hard reset to no avail. Have armed and unarmed alarm no luck. At my wits end. Need help.

Hello,

How are you resetting the security system? There is a sensing ground wire that runs from the security system to the radio which must be grounded (red wire). Here is the security wiring diagrams so you can see what I am talking about.

Check out the diagrams (below). Please let us know what happens.

Cheers, Ken

Thanks Ken I appreciate your help. I figured out what the problem was The harness behind the climate control unit was not plugged in fully, after I checked it I plugged it in all the way locked it in place and the car started right up. Thanks for your help I sure do appreciate it.
