My car was slow to start up for a few days, the engine was taking longer to turn over. One day It didn't start, I got a jump, and it started. Went and had my battery, alternator, and starter tested. AutoZone and O'rielys said they were fine. My car wouldn't start again the next day. I waited until the day after to try and get a jump, but it wound up starting without a jump.

Hi,

When you indicate it is slow start, does it seem like the battery is drained? Also, is this still happening or is it now starting?

If it isn't, let me know exactly what is happening. For example, it cranks but the engine won't start. Or, it does nothing when I turn the key.

Here is a link you may find helpful until I hear back from you:

Good afternoon,

Can you upload a video for me to hear when it does not start?

I would also make sure the cables are clean and tight.

The cables look clean and tight. It seems to be happening on and off. I don't think the battery is drained but I'm not sure. It is cranking but will not always turn on. The lights and everything turn on still.

They might look clean but that does mean they are. The part you clean is inside the cable where it meets the post.

Follow the guide.
