Car going slow despite accelerator pedal being pushed all the way down

So like the title says, accelerator is basically almost pushed all the way down but my car still goes slow, it is like the engine isn't picking it up or something.

Note: my car is actually a Nissan Presage 1998 but i can't seem to find that model on the listed models so i pressed Presitge instead.
