I've already replaced the EGR valve and the MAP sensor. When I'm driving maybe 5 to 6 minutes of driving all the RPMs go to zero and the car shuts off and will not start again until I set for 5-10 minutes. I can't afford any more repairs I don't need. Could a bad coil make my car act this way?

Yes, it can, there are many things that can cause this problem. When the engine doesn't start, can you get it to start using starting fluid? If not, we need to check for spark.
