Car door locks are extremely finicky

The doors of my car are extremely finicky. Sometimes they work and sometimes they don't. Even when the doors are unlocked, sometimes they wont open from the outside, sometimes they wont open from the inside, and sometimes they wont open at all. I've discovered that after driving, the doors lock by themselves, and the doors stop working sometimes. Something I was able to figure out was that when I am locked out, if I open and close the trunk the doors sometimes start working again.

It sounds like the drivers door module has gone out here is the wiring diagrams so you can see how the system works and instructions to change it out. Check out the diagrams (below). Please let us know what you find. We are interested to see what it is.
