While driving the engine does not go over 2,200 RPMs?

I have the car listed above is the Police Package.

I don't have any check engine light on, but I feel the engine is not really responding. I'll press the gas pedal and the car doesn't want to rev past 2,200 RPMs. If I continue pressing, then it'll rev but it feels like it's fighting me. I never had this problem before and used to rev fine. Car is driving at speed fine although problem with accelerating as a result. Checked the transmission fluid and engine oil. Both look fine.

Hi,

If there were no codes, then I would think we may have a fuel pump issue. Have you noticed any smoke from the exhaust or odors when it's running? Does your scanner have live data? If it does, could you let me know what the short-term and long-term fuel trims are?

As far as fuel issues are concerned, you may want to check the fuel pressure. You will need a fuel pressure gauge, but most parts stores will lend one to you.
