car does not idle when cold.

Car does not idle when cold. Fine when engine is warm. I replaced the petrol filter and used injector cleaning fluid in the petrol without any change. There is often a strong petrol smell when starting the car from cold.

we have no info on this car, but try cleaning throttle plate with choke cleaner on both sides an diac hole if you have one. also check for vacuum lines broken or disconnected.
