Car does not start after passenger door window was smashed by thieves

Car was parked at night, thieves smashed the passenger front door window. Car alarm did not go off. Following morning tried to start the car, initially started but switched/cut off on its own. Car cranks but do not start since then.

Hello,

Sorry about the thieves, there is a lot of that going around now. when you try to start it is the security light flashing? If so lets try to reset it by following this guide:
