Alrighty, I bought my jeep and installed a new alternator and battery. My friend owned the jeep before I and never had this problem. When changing the battery I broke the terminal piece for the positive cable. I figured the terminal should stay hooked to the battery without falling off(it stays without falling off) first thing I noticed when turning on the vehicle, the bbattery sits at a really low voltage. And when I turn on my lights the battery voltage meter drops, is this being caused because of the battery terminal being broken?

This happens when the connection is not good or the alternator needs to be replaced, to be sure here is a guide to help with instructions below on how to change it out.
