car died while driving now wont start

My fiancee was on his way to drill this past friday and our car just all the sudden shut off. now it wont start. the lights come on but the radio wont anymore either. could this be just a fuse?
there was also a rattling in the tranny after we got our clutch replaced. it would rattle and make noise just for a few miles until the car got warmed up. help? i really cant afford another 1400 bill. we just replaced our clutch two weeks ago.

check all fuses with a test light first.

did you have the battery tested???

2 things needed to run, compression, fuel pressure and spark. all 3 need to be checked
