I have never had a problem with my car. I was driving a forty mile trip. About halfway home my vehicle started to lose power in a way. I could not give it anymore gas. It is like it stopped receiving fuel. When I tried to give it gas it stuttered and shifted weird. I pulled over and cane to a stop. The vehicle shut off right away. I tried to crank the car and it would not start. It tried to. I have a good battery. It will crank and crank but will not turn over. After about thirty minutes of waiting for the tow truck I tried to crank it again and it started. But it will not let you give it gas. It just sputters and shuts off after ten seconds or so. I think it is the fuel pump. But the fact that is started again threw me off a little. I have half a tank and always use premium. When the vehicle shut off I did not see any check engine lights come on. The only light I have is the yellow oil light. Which is because this thing burns a quart every 1500 miles like everyone who has one knows. It just came on today.
I have not started to do anything. I am still on the side of the road waiting for a tow. Any ideas? I am going to try to trouble shoot tomorrow.

Hello,

We need to see if the problem is ignition or fuel related. Lets try this test first and then get back to me.
