will not stay charged

My car will not stay charged. i get a jump charge for about fifteen minutes i drive it around then bring it back home turn it off. then turn it back on every now and then to see if it will start, but by the time night comes its will not start again. what could be the problem?

check battery for condition including a load test. most places do for free and make sure terminal ends are clean and free of corrosion.

It is a new battery. it is like a month or two old .

if it s a new or fairly new battery it still could be bad. however, you may have a parasitic draw so you need to test for it. You need a volt meter or test light to do it. See link.
