Will not start after ignition cylinder was damage by thieves

My car was damaged by someone trying to steal it. they tore out my whole cylinder thing my key went in, now it's just this little switch i have to use pliers to turn but car wont start now. security light flashes and comes on with all other lights. what can i do?

Good afternoon,

You will need to replace the steering column. There are so many parts for the repair when someone busts up the column that it pays to just replace the column with a used one.
