When the key is turned to on position, the fuel pump doesn't kick in. When FPDM is bypassed using jumper wires, the fuel pump engages and runs 100%. Grounds are looking good, used multi meter, FPDM is getting 12v. FPDM was replaced and no result. Please help!

Hi,

For power to reach the FPDM, it has to come from the fuel pump relay and through the inertia switch. Have you checked the switch? Also, the FPDM is what controls the voltage to the pump. However, power must go through the inertia fuel shut off switch first.

I you haven't already, try resetting it. It is located in the trunk, driver's side behind a panel.

Let me know.

Joe

We worked it back to a broken fuse. New FPDM on the way. Maybe a bad new product?
