97 cad.deville northstar; code po550 pop up on the onboard computer I can not find this code in the code section what this code mean and how to fix it. I replace the idle control switch last month and code p1654 what this mean, how you go by fixing these problems thank you

that is a powersteering switch chec fuse first may be underhood then have apro scan it as that is the only way to tell what is wrong.

dowhat I said in first response for 550 the second one is cruise control has no output, both of these need to have a pro type scan tool hooked up to it to see where the problem is. so take it to a mechanic and have h im scan it to find the problem. Just like I said in first response.
