car blows warm air with a/c on

When I turn on my a/c, my car only blows warm air. It worked fine two days ago, and then it just stopped blowing cold air. I was hearing a rattling noise before it stopped working, and I only heard it when I turned on my a/c. What could the problem be?

Sounds like your ac compressor or ac compressor clutch went bad.. with the engine off see if the center of the ac clutch turns freely.Also pop the belt off the spin the compressor pulley listening for noise and check the pulley for play.
