Hi there.

At the moment I've got my 4 speakers running off my head unit and 3 subs off an amp no problems there. (Already happy with have with my system as is) I'm wondering can I add a separate 4ch amp and run another 4 speakers off that so 8 speakers total? (not including subs.) I've got the extra gear just sitting around and thought I'd try it out for fun see how it sounds. Any advice is much appreciated, cheers.

Yep, you can piggyback onto the existing channels to make the modifications, here is the speaker wiring diagrams so you can see what I am talking about and how the system works. I have included the diagrams for the radio system with and without the amplifier. Check out the images (below). Please let us know what happens.
