Car alternator is overcharging

Good evening, my car alternator is overcharging. Do you know what can cause this to happen?Thank you in advance.

This is caused by the voltage regulator failing. When they do they either stop charging or over charge. It will need to be replaced.

Hello, good morning. can you please tell me where the voltage regulator is located in the car please? Can you please send a diagram showing where it located? Thank you for a speedy response.

The voltage regulator is inside the alternator and is not serviceable. You have to change the whole alternator.
