Can't turn off high beam lights

When I turn on my car lights both high beam and low beam lights turn on is there a broken switch if so what is the name of the switch or senior that I need

your headlights will turn on when car is started check to see if your multi function switch has engaged the high beams as that is your hig beam apply if not it may be a bad multi function switch.
