Cannot select gears?

So, my car won't select gears, I have had a look and the rod that selects gears has come out of the little box on the bottom of the gear stick just wondering if there is an easy way to put this back in.

So, it's been sorted if you get this problem the part that comes from the actual gear stick has a small button on it this needs to be released put the gear selection rod all the way in then push the button back down. hopefully will work for you.

Hello,

Your vehicle is equipped with the 6 speed F40 transmission.
It looks like either the holding bracket or selector cable end might be damaged.
See image 2.
You can try and push back the adjuster bracket and reinsert the cable end.
You will need to depress the blue locking block, see image below.

A new adjuster is available from Opel/Vauxhall under part number 55597766.
