I changed alternator and plugged everything in and cannot figure out where this wire plugs in. I can get the car to crank by jumping solenoid but it is not getting spark or fuel or something. also, on the fuse box fuses 28 through 30 on the bottom left side are not giving off any electric when I test it with tester, but every other fuse tests fine. what is going on and where does this wire plug into?

it may go to the alternator if you did not plug back in there is a large wire and a plug in on top or near when large wire bolted on. it may be for nothing as well. If you disconnected battery the security system may be engaged and see pic to reset it so it will start.

It is definitely not the plug for alternator, but I do not know where else it can go.
I heard about the pass-code reset tried it once but did not work. my security light has always stayed on so I can not tell if it resets.

do like picture says it may take up to three times. also, if light does not go out then a mechanic is going to have to scan system to see what is wrong with it security wise. sounds like the problem.

The wire I can't seem to find where to plug in is black and yellow with a black stripe going down the yellow...I'll add an image...I can't get and spark even with ether but it turns over with jumping solenoid...the yellow and black wire stems from under fuse box with the rest of the cluster of wires taped up.. I'll try and add another image

have a local mechanic check this out it doesn't give us much info and seeing hundreds of vehicles makes it hard for us to diagnose over computer. have you tried a security system reset? tha tmay be the cause of your no start problem. I have sent instructions in previous replies.
