How to add differential gear oil?

My car is leaking differential gear oil through I think a failed driveshaft/CV seal where it connects to the differential.
I attached a photo which I believe is the "Drain" plug but am unsure, any help would be appreciated before I destroy my differential until I can get it into the shop.

Hi,

That looks like an inspection plate. Is that where the leak is being noticed?

As far as the drain, it is an actual plug not a plastic cover. If you look at the pic I attached below, I highlighted the drain plug and circled what you have in your pic.

Also, this vehicle shouldn't have differential fluid. Everything is part of the transaxle. Is the fluid you see red in color?
