cannot shift gears without slight grinding after putting in first gear and at takeoff grinding noise continues so I have not used vehicle since. I checked the brake fluid, level is okay. I checked the slave cylinder for leaks, no leaks, bled the slave cylinder slightly less grinding noise, but I still cannot shift without grinding, Is there anything else I should check before changing the clutch?

If it is hard to shift into gear when running, check to see if it is easier with the engine off, If it shifts easily off, the clutch isn't fully disengaging. This is most likely the result of a weak slave or clutch MC.

This can also be caused by the clutch disc lining falling apart while will not allow the clutch to disengage as well. Please let us know what you find.
