Cannot select gears when the van's engine is running

When the van has started and running you cannot select any gears. When the ignition is off you can select a gear okay, depress the clutch and start the van, it will then go okay but will not be able to select a gear. You need to switch off to select a gear? Has been fine since this.

Hello,

The clutch has gone out, the disc is not being released. Here is a guide and a video to show you how to fix the problem the car is not the same but the process is very similar:
