I am trying to remove the tps to replace it and simply cannot access the screws. I cannot get a screwdriver to them, there is too much in the way. Am I missing something? Is there any way to access these screws, or do I have to remove the throttle body?

I'm not sure what is in the way. Take a look at the pic I attached and let me know if this is what you are working on.

Yes but the sensor is not on the part of the throttle body facing the front of the car with easy access. It is on the other side of the throttle body facing the back of the car and there are lots of tubes and wires blocking my access to the screws.

I understand. The only thing you can do is move things around or remove items until you can access the part.
